EPAA/AAPE is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international, multilingual, and multidisciplinary journal designed for researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and development analysts concerned with education policies. The journal publishes manuscripts in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and provides article abstracts in all three languages in order to reach a global audience.

EPAA/AAPE publishes issues comprised of empirical articles, commentaries, and special issues at roughly weekly intervals, all of which pertain to educational policy, with direct implications for educational policy.

  • Using the H-index of Google Scholar EPAA/AAPE is the highest ranked Open Access journal in the “education policy” category and one of the top 5 general education policy journals. With an h5 median of 32 EPAA/AAPE ranked 3rd.

  • Using Google Scholar EPAA/AAPE articles have been cited 5268 times since 2010.

  • EPAA/AAPE is systematically increasing the number of articles published and the journal’s H index (2013/h5= 13; 2014/ h5= 15; and 2015/h5= 18).
