The purpose of our research has been to establish a model of entrepreneurship as a “competence”, looking for its key elements or competences. We intend this model to capture the views of experts in initial teacher education, convened through the Research and Development Community Enabling Teachers for Entrepreneurship Education (RDC ENTENP-ED), within the Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE). Thirteen education professionals were selected by means of a questionnaire to determine their level of expertise in the field of entrepreneurship. They were presented with a set of entrepreneurship competences, created by members of the ENTENP-ED RDC based on a review of existing literature, and asked for their opinion on the various items proposed. By applying two Delphi waves, a decalogue of competences was obtained, which allows for the overall development of the “entrepreneurship” competence. This decalogue could serve as a basis for the creation and dissemination of specific materials for the initial training of teachers in the teaching of entrepreneurship.</p>}, number={August - December}, journal={Education Policy Analysis Archives}, author={Ibáñez-Cubillas, Pilar and Gijón Puerta, José}, year={2021}, month={Oct.}, pages={138} }
