Kimberly Kappler Hewitt, Ph.D. serves as an assistant professor of educational leadership at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Her research interests include the ethical and efficacious use of educational data and the implementation and sustainment of reform. Amongst her publications are Postcards from the Schoolhouse: Practitioner Scholars Examine Contemporary Issues in Instructional Leadership (NCPEA Press, 2013) and Differentiation is an Expectation: A School Leader’s Guide to Building a Culture of Differentiation (Routledge, 2011), as well as 13 journal articles and 6 book chapters. She was recently awarded a Spencer Grant to support her research.
